a5 Copenhagen is part of an architectural book series that highlights current architecture in vibrant metropolises around the world. a5 Copenhagen is the second book in the series, and will focus on the most innovative and creative new architecture in the Danish capital. This book will present the excellent and important architecture happening in Copenhagen to the rest of the world and effectively increase the knowledge on contemporary Danish architecture the world over.

Casey C.M. Mathewson studied architecture at the University of Oregon and the Stuttgart Technical University. In 1988 he founded mab – mathewson architektur berlin, an institute devoted to building and research in architecture. The themes of his publications include human focus in architectural design, urban design in Germany, and the history of residential architecture.
