Spotlight on Blasen Landscape Architecture

One of our favorite clients, award-winning firm Blasen Landscape Architecture, founded by Eric and Silvina Blasen, has been featured in the Oakland Tribune! We are pleased to have been involved with such a beautiful book as Living Land: The Gardens of Landscape Architecture, and are eager for more people to be exposed to the firm's work and have a Blasen-esque garden of their own. According to the Tribune, "Living Land lifts itself well above coffee table eye-candy status to become a resource for architects, scholars, landscape artists, and botanical gardeners." We agree! Check out the original article feautring the book here.

The Blasens will be celebrating at the book's upcoming June 10th launch at March in San Francisco. From 6-8:30 p.m., the store at 3075 Sacramento Street will play host to these amazing landscape architects, who will be signing copies of their book and socializing with those who stop by. We encourage anyone to drop in and get your copy autographed. Purchase your copy of the book here

Later, on July 12, Eric and Silvina will be guest speakers at The Garden Conservatory's "Hooray for Shade!" event, to be held in The Gardens at Heather Farm at 1540 Marchbanks Drive, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. Tickets to this event cover an entire day of activities, from lectures, lunch, plant sales and garden tours--sure to be a good time. For more information, such as how to register, finding directions, etc., visit The Garden Conservatory's site for a detailed description of the event here
